Phase 3.0 — Marketplace
Launch Date
2023
AirDAO Structure
AirDAO begins to move to a traditional DAO structure as product-market fit has been achieved with our integrated products.
Fundraise has hopefully been completed.
Now our mission is to create a marketplace similar to Apple’s app store. 3rd party developers can launch their products on our chain and users can use them within our ecosystem.

1. AirDAO Marketplace
This phase is a long way off so we can only get a glimpse into what it “might” look like.
If we think about how Apple approached allowing 3rd party devs to create apps for Apple’s integrated products, they did so with the launch of the App Store.
We are taking a similar approach.
Our “integrated” products at the start serve as the essential products that our users need for our ecosystem. This is similar to how an iPhone comes with Notes, Calendar, Clock, etc.
Then, users can visit the Marketplace (app store equivalent) and install products that can replace our integrated products, such as a 3rd party developed Swap product.
A perfect example of this already being done in the crypto industry is Gnosis Safe:
Gnosis safe has all “products” within their platform for the user to use Gnosis.
But, users can choose to add “apps” which are developed by 3rd parties.

2. Improved Developer Resources
Before we launch the marketplace, we need to have resources in order for developers to develop on AirDAO and how to launch to the Marketplace
3. Between 5 and 10 3rd Party dApps
We can’t launch this with a completely empty marketplace.
Therefore, we will have to have a few 3rd party developers develop dApps that will be ready on launch day.
We will need the community’s help to build these first few products.
