How to use FirepotSwap’s Pool tab for the first time
How to use the Pool tab
Adding liquidity to a trading pair and receiving FLP tokens
Step 1: Connect your wallet to AirDAO
Step 2: Head to the Pool tab
Step 3: Click on Add Liquidity
Step 4: Select the pair you want to provide liquidity for
At launch, only the AMB-USDC pair is available
Step 5: Input the amount of liquidity you want to provide to the LP
The rates you see will be different from this, as this guide was made under the Testnet environment
Step 6: Click Approve USDC
- You will have a wallet notification on giving the Contract access to your funds pop up, click Confirm.
Step 7: Click Supply
- You will be prompted to Review, click Confirm Supply to continue.
- You will also have to Confirm the transaction on your wallet.
Step 8: Click on the Pool tab again to view your position
Step 9: Add the FLP token to your wallet
- You will be prompted by your Wallet to click Add Token to finalize.
This token represents your position on the LP
Step 10: Click Manage to review your position
You may also want to break down your FLP tokens, and remove liquidity you have provided. Let’s take a look at that process.
Removing liquidity from a trading pair and breaking up FLP tokens
Step 1: Connect your wallet to AirDAO if you haven’t already
Step 2: Go to the Pool Tab
Step 3: Click Manage to edit your position
Step 4: Click Remove to remove liquidity
Step 5: Select the amount of liquidity you want to remove from the LP
Step 6: Click Approve
- You will have a wallet notification on giving the Contract access to your funds pop up, click Sign.
Step 7: Click Remove
- You will be prompted to Review, click Confirm to continue.
- You will also have to Confirm the transaction on your wallet.
